What started as a simple fascination with soap-making in 1993 has grown into something much more meaningful. Anne Sylte Bloom didn’t set out to build a business that would become a cornerstone of Seattle’s maker community, but that’s exactly what happened when she established Seattle Sundries in 2004 in the heart of Ballard.

We’ve been creating handcrafted soaps, lotions, and sundries for over two decades now, and every single bar still gets the same careful attention Anne gave to her very first batch. This isn’t about mass production or cutting corners – it’s about taking the time to do things right, one small batch at a time.

Anne has been the creative force behind every product formulation, scent blend, and piece of original artwork that makes our products distinctly ours. Our workshop has called several Seattle neighborhoods home over the years. From our first commercial space at 8316 8th Ave NW (2015-2022) to our current location, we’ve grown alongside this city we love. Each move has brought new opportunities to connect with our community and refine our craft.

Being a member of the Handcrafted Soap and Cosmetic Guild since 2007 keeps us connected to other makers who share our commitment to quality and natural ingredients.
